Here's how to reset the service light on a Mercedes CLS W218. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine and ensure the total odometer is displayed; turn off the ignition, then turn it back on. Press and hold the phone button and the "ok" button simultaneously until a new menu appears on the display. Navigate to the service menu: go to "assist" and confirm; then to "full service" and confirm again. Scroll to find "confirm service" and press "ok". Confirm again when prompted; at this point, the system should confirm that the service has been reset, and the light on the dashboard should turn off.
