How to Reset the Oil Light on a 1998 Mercedes C220 W202

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Mercedes C-Class W202: this procedure is done entirely from the instrument cluster. Insert the key and turn it to position 1, then press the button with the partial odometer icon located at the bottom right of the instrument cluster twice. After pressing twice, turn off the car and remove the key. Keep the partial odometer button pressed, and while holding it, turn the instrument cluster back on: after 5 to 10 seconds, you will see a message on the display "service reset" and hear a beep, indicating that you can release the button. Now the display will show the new service interval.
