Before performing the service and resetting the light, ensure that the service is actually due by selecting "settings" from the menu and then "assyst plus". If it indicates that maintenance is overdue, then perform the service and reset the light with the following procedure: 1) select "trip"; 2) press the start button; 3) press the back and home buttons simultaneously for three seconds; 4) release them and then press the touchpad again and then the back button; 5) select "workshop" and then "assyst plus"; 6) press start; 7) choose "full service" and then "confirm service"; 8) select the type of oil used; 9) confirm.
