Let's see how to reset the service light on a Mercedes GLA W156 (MK1). Turn on the ignition and activate the service menu by pressing the "ok" button (on the left side of the steering wheel) and the "telephone" button (on the right side of the steering wheel) simultaneously.

Then use the arrow keys to scroll through the options and select "assyst plus" and then press "ok" to enter.

Select "full service" and then choose "confirm full maintenance" and confirm with "ok". The system may ask you to select the type of oil used. Choose the correct option and confirm.

A message will appear: "maintenance completed?" Select "yes" and then "ok", select "confirm" and then "ok" again. At this point, the display will show "maintenance completed". You can exit the menu or turn off the ignition.

Task completed.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Mercedes Sprinter MK 2

With regular use, the gear knob on the Mercedes Sprinter may show signs of wear that necessitate its replacement. To carry out the replacement, sit in the driver's seat, and using a pair of pliers, rotate the knob left and right to unlock it. Grip the knob and gently pull it off while ensuring that the spring mounted on the lever does not get lost. Take the new knob, align it with the gear pattern, tap it on gently, and finish inserting it using a rubber mallet.
