How to reset the electronic handbrake on the Renault Scenic?

To reset the electronic handbrake on the Renault Scenic, switch on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the ignition barrel. Once the cluster is on, remove the protective panel of the dashboard located at the bottom left of the steering column. Underneath, you will find a lever that must be pulled fully down for a few seconds; by doing this, you will notice that the handbrake error message will be reset and the handbrake itself will be reset.
