How do you reset the electronic handbrake of the Renault Scenic?

The electronic handbrake of the Renault Scenic can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, after the ignition key has been inserted into the corresponding block: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can remove the dashboard protection panel located at the bottom left of the steering column. Below this, you will find a lever, which must be pulled all the way down for a few moments; by performing this operation, you will notice that the handbrake error message will be reset and the handbrake will be restored.
