Replacement of the gear knob of the Mercedes Sprinter MK 2

With use, the gear shift knob of the Mercedes Sprinter may show signs of wear that require replacement. To carry out the replacement, position yourself in the driver's seat, use a pipe wrench to rotate the knob to the right and left to unlock it, grip the knob and remove it with small oscillations, being careful not to lose the spring mounted on the lever. Take the new knob and insert it onto the lever, aligning the gear diagram, tap it in with small taps and finish inserting it using a rubber hammer.
