How to Remove the Radio from a Mercedes CLK

Before you can begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Mercedes CLK. Start by prising and sliding back the gear surround using a thin but sturdy tool. At this point, you will be able to remove the ashtray by simply unclipping it. This will reveal the screws securing the climate control panel. Proceed to unscrew and remove these screws, then take out the climate controls. Once done, you will reach the screws that secure the radio, which you will unscrew. After unscrewing these screws, you can pull the radio from its housing. To completely remove it, simply disconnect the rear connector, and you will have finished the disassembly.
