How to Remove the Light Switch from a Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Mercedes C-Class. Start by rotating the light switch to "P". Once done, pull the switch towards you to partially remove it from its housing. At this point, while the switch is partially out, rotate it clockwise to move the entire switch assembly. After rotating the assembly, you can remove the outer trim to access the retaining clips, which you need to release. Once you complete this step, fully extract the switch from the dashboard, then disconnect the rear electrical connector, and you will have finished the removal.
