Replacing Battery in Mercedes G-Class

The Mercedes Benz G-Class has a unique feature: the car battery is located inside the cabin, not under the hood as is typical. The first thing to do to access it is to remove the panel below the air vents, which contains the two cup holders, by unscrewing the two screws at the base. Once the panel is removed, you will see the battery in front of you: unscrew the two screws related to the mounting bracket. After that, first unscrew the negative terminal and then the positive terminal, disconnecting them from the battery. Remove the battery from the top and install the new one.
