Replacement of Brake Pedal Switch

The brake pedal switch is located just behind the lever: to access it, you need to remove the plastic cover beneath the dashboard. Disconnect the connector attached to the switch and unclip the switch itself by pressing on the locking tab; then install the new switch, reconnect the plug, and perform a functionality check before remounting the plastic cover. In some cases, it may be sufficient to clean the contacts of the connector with the appropriate spray, as dust or cleaning detergents may have caused oxidation.
