Brake Pad Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe M W164 - Years 2005-2011

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the wheel; take off the protective caps from the caliper securing bolts and unscrew them; detach the front retaining clip of the pads and remove the caliper; extract the old pads, disconnecting the wear sensor which will be fitted to the new ones. Using a C-clamp, compress the caliper pistons, insert the new pads, secure the caliper to the support by tightening the respective bolts and applying the protective caps; finally, insert the retaining clip. Before driving, pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
