Replacing Rear Brake Pads

Lift the vehicle using a car jack or on suitable axle stands and remove the rear wheel. To aid the retraction of the caliper piston, the video shows a method that is not actually necessary: a tube is applied to the bleed valve, which is connected to a bottle for collection; open the valve by loosening the pin and then leverage between the disc and pad to retract the piston. In any case, once the caliper is removed, it is sufficient to press the piston with a C-clamp without opening the bleed valve. Then, loosen the caliper mounting bolts, remove it from its position, and extract the pads; fit the new ones, connect the wear sensor, reposition the caliper, and tighten the bolts.
