Replacing Front Discs and Pads

Once you have lifted the vehicle, remove the front wheel, disconnect the brake wear sensor, extract the retaining pins of the pads, lever between the disc and pads to retract the caliper piston, and remove the spring and the pads themselves. Proceed to remove the brake caliper complete with bracket; then unscrew the disc fixing bolt to the hub, give it a few taps with a hammer to free it, and apply the new disc after cleaning it of protective oil, aligning the two centring pins and tightening the fixing bolt. Finally, reassemble the brake caliper, insert the new pads, and secure them by inserting the spring and the two pins; finally, reconnect the wear sensor.
