How to replace the EGR valve on the Mercedes Vito?

Model: Mercedes Vito W639, MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

To replace the EGR valve on the Mercedes Vito, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay: on the left side, you will locate the EGR valve, situated between the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold. You can now remove it by unscrewing the fixing bolts and disconnecting all connectors related to the sensors mounted on it: once the valve is completely free, you can fit a new replacement part and reassemble all removed components.
