Today, you will learn how to clean the EGR valve on a 2010 Mercedes Vito. The steps to follow are: - open the front bonnet of the Mercedes; - disconnect the valve connector; - unscrew the four screws that secure the valve; - rotate the valve counterclockwise and remove it; - clean the valve with degreasers; - insert the valve; - screw in the screws; - reconnect the connector; - close the bonnet.

If the valve is still dirty or damaged, it will be necessary to install a new EGR valve.

To verify that the valve has been installed correctly, start the engine.
