How to Manually Close the Roof of a Mercedes SLK

Model: Mercedes Slk R170, MK 1 - Years 1997-2004

Before you can start, open the boot of your Mercedes SLK. Begin by unclipping and removing the internal side covers of the boot. Next, loosen the screw that adjusts the hydraulic pressure of the roof. Once done, pull the hooks on both sides. This will free the roof. Proceed by opening the corresponding hatch. At this point, close the roof by simply pulling it towards the front. Once you have completed this step, the procedure will be finished.
