How to replace the hood trim on a Mercedes SLK? Let’s see how to proceed: using a screwdriver (unscrew the screws), remove the side plastic trims covering the edges on either side of the hood, then, unscrew with a spanner or socket the nuts located on it (if present).

Once the screws are removed, move the hood back (as shown in the video).

Detach the plastic trims of the hood from the upper side of the car and remove the hood trim from the frame of the car's convertible roof. Finally, remove the new hood trim and prepare to reattach the plastic trims with the securing screws.
