How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012

Start by turning on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the arrows on the multifunction steering wheel to display the total mileage on the screen. Once displayed, press the button on the instrument cluster three times. This will show the vehicle's voltage. Again, use the arrows on the steering wheel to display the message "Maintenance Data" on the multifunction screen. Once the message "Maintenance Data" appears, select confirm using the "-" button on the steering wheel, then confirm with the button to the left of the down arrow on the steering wheel. After confirming, the message "General Maintenance" will appear, and press the previous button again. This will display the message "Maintenance Confirmed," and you will have successfully completed the reset.
