To reset the Service light on a Mercedes A-Class, turn on the ignition and navigate through the menu using the cursor on the right side of the steering wheel: this will allow you to select "Service" and then "ASSYST PLUS". Next, select "Full Service": you will also need to choose the oil grade that was used during the change from the options displayed on the screen.

This will allow you to completely turn off and then turn on the instrument cluster, ensuring that the light is reset.
