Replacing Front Headlight Glass

In older generation headlights, where the outer cover is made of glass, you can replace this lens since it is secured to the headlight housing with metal clips: however, it is necessary to remove the headlight itself to perform this replacement. Start by opening the hood and disconnecting the side turn signal; remove the trim piece located just below the headlight and unscrew the mounting bolts of the headlight to extract it from its housing. At this point, unclip the metal fasteners securing the glass, remove the damaged glass, and install the new one, paying attention to the gasket and the fastening of the clips.
