Let's see how to repair the closure on the Mercedes A-Class, which allows you to close the windows by bringing the key closer. Remove the handle by unscrewing it from the door thickness: take off the rubber cover at the handle height, and with a Torx screwdriver, enter the slot and unscrew the 20 mm screw. To remove the sensor, however, you need to drill the block with a fine-point drill. The sensor is indeed damaged, and some solder points are missing on the circuit. The YouTuber now heats the circuit to remove the protection and resolder the two points together. Once soldered, seal it with silicone, securing the solder joint, and put it back in the lock (holding it with a zip tie, since the lock stops have been removed). Clean the area and put it back in place. Job complete.
