Operation: How do you manually close the convertible top of the Mercedes E-Class?

In order to manually close the convertible top of the Mercedes E-Class, you need to open the trunk, detach the inner panel on the left, and move the screw underneath from MAX to MIN using the hex key. Once this operation has been completed, you need to rotate the two mechanisms on the sides of the trunk, as shown in the video. Lowering the two handles on the top, you can then pull out the two handles. By closing the trunk and pulling the handles upwards, you can access the convertible top, which can now be fully raised and put back into position.

You do not need any diagnostic tools and will be able to complete the whole procedure without any difficulty. First, go inside the car and make sure it is completely turned off. Then keep the accelerator pedal pressed and at the same time press the brake pedal six times consecutively. When finished, keep both pedals pressed and turn on the ignition. Press the brake pedal again six more times and keep both pedals depressed for approximately 50 seconds. Turn off the ignition. Release the brake pedal and hold the accelerator pedal for another 50 seconds to complete the procedure.
