To carry out this replacement, you will need a forked plastic trim tool to lift the base of the gear lever. This will allow you to remove all the panels leading to the radio. Using the tool, lift the ashtray and disconnect the plugs found on various components. Now, remove the screws securing the stereo at the back. Once the screws are removed, pry from the top to disconnect the plastic trim of the stereo. Also, disconnect the plugs here. You can now extract the stereo and replace it with your new unit.
