How to Remove a Wheel from a Mercedes GLC?

To remove a wheel from a Mercedes GLC, start by parking the vehicle on a flat, stable surface and engaging the parking brake. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly with a cross wrench, but do not remove them completely.

Position a jack under the lift point indicated near the wheel you want to remove and raise the vehicle until the wheel is off the ground. Ensure the vehicle is stable on the jack and, if possible, use jack stands for added safety.

Once the vehicle is raised, completely remove the wheel nuts and set them aside. Take the wheel off the hub by gripping it firmly with both hands and pulling towards you. If the wheel is stuck, you may need to tap it lightly with the palm of your hand to loosen it. After removing the wheel, you can proceed with the necessary tasks.

To reinstall the wheel, position it correctly on the hub studs, hand-tighten the nuts, lower the vehicle, and then tighten the nuts with the cross wrench in a crisscross pattern to ensure even tension distribution.
