How to remove the radio and screen on the Mini Cooper
Model: Mini Mini
F57, F54, F56, F55
- Years 2014-2023
In this video we see how to remove the radio and screen from a Mini Cooper: first, we cover the dashboard with tape at the top, then we remove the cover with a plastic spatula, to avoid scratching the plastic. We insert two tips at the bottom of the screen to remove the frame, then we can remove the screws holding the screen in place. Now we need to remove all the electrical connectors behind. With a screwdriver, we remove the screws holding the main unit in place, then we remove the side vents, the dashboard trim (which is only pressure-fit) and then we can remove the other screws holding the main unit in place. Now we remove the clips, connectors and extract the unit.

How to remove the driver's side airbag (steering wheel) on a BMW 3 Series? This operation is very simple if you follow the steps. Let's see in this guide how to proceed: insert a medium-length screwdriver into the rear slots on the steering wheel and turn until you release the clips that hold the airbag. Once the airbag is disconnected, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. For reinstalling the airbag: connect the power connector, then press it onto the steering wheel until the locking clips snap into place inside the steering wheel. by ScegliAuto More videos
