Operation of the headlight switch on the Mini R56

In this video we see how the headlight switch of the Mini R56 works: you need to use the dial at the end of the indicator. When the arrow points to the empty circle the headlights are off; if we move it up one position we get to the parking lights (or position lights). Going up another notch we switch to the low beams. If the car is equipped with automatic headlights, then these can be positioned under the empty dot: in this way the car will do everything by itself. High beams are obtained by pushing the lever forward from the low beam or automatic position. In this case a very visible blue light will come on on the instrument panel; to turn it off just pull towards us.
