How to replace the battery of a Mini Cooper R53

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Battery

In this video we can see how to replace the battery of a Mini Cooper R53: this car has been parked for six weeks, so the battery is completely drained. The youtuber manually entered from the driver's side, lifted the rear seat where there is a sort of cord that, when pulled, releases the rear hatch: in fact, the battery of this version is located in the trunk, under the carpet. We start by disconnecting the negative terminal, and then the positive one, remove the mounting bracket above, and then pull it away. We put the new one in its place, reattach the terminals starting with the positive one and then the negative one, and secure the bracket. However, to start the car we will still need to connect it to a booster: on the right we have the positive terminal connection, while on the left we will find a metal attachment for the negative terminal, and we start the car.

How to Remove the Front Brake Rotor on a BMW X3

Let's see how to remove the front brake rotor on a BMW X3. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for working. Loosen the bolts with a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel, then start loosening the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket, using a screwdriver to remove the brake pads. Now remove the caliper bracket and loosen the bolts on the brake rotor (using a Torx screwdriver), pull the rotor towards you to slide it off the wheel hub. Install the new brake rotor with all the associated bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the rotor and the brake pads, then install the brake caliper, making sure to tighten all the bolts securely. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and then tighten the bolt. Finally, install the wheel with the bolts.
