How do you replace the windshield wipers on the Mini Countryman?

In order to replace the windshield wiper blades of the Mini Countryman, you need to lift the old blades so that they are no longer in contact with the windshield: once they are in this position, you can remove the clips that secure the old blade to its arm, and then insert the new one. Once the new blade is secured, you can reposition it on the windshield alongside the other one: this way you can operate the wipers to make sure everything is working correctly.
