How to replace the steering column of the Mini Cooper 2
Model: Mini Mini
R50, R52, R53
- Years 2001-2007
Today we will explain how to replace the steering head of a Mini Cooper model 2. To perform the replacement, turn off the car, pull the handbrake, and lift the right front wheel in order to access the steering system. Then lift the front of the car and support it on jack stands. Make a mark with a marker between the tie rod and the steering head so that it is easier to remember the position after disassembly; using a 24 mm wrench, loosen the nut on the steering head, on the tie rod side. Brush the steering head fixing nut and spray some loosening agent. Using a 15 insert socket wrench, loosen the support nut of the steering head; with a steering head extractor and a hammer, push the nut that has just been positioned so that the head detaches from the pin. Push on the pin to replace it and unscrew the steering head. After removing the steering head, before continuing with the assembly of the new one, have the geometry checked by a professional to avoid steering breakage. Proceed with the assembly following the steps in reverse.

How to Replace the Rear Light and Bulbs on a Ford Focus Year 2000
To replace the rear light and bulbs on a Ford Focus 2000/2004, first, open the tailgate of the boot. This gives access to the screw that holds the rear light in place. The screw to undo (using an appropriate screwdriver) is located inside the light and corresponds to the fold that accommodates the tailgate (as shown in the images). Once you start to undo it, continue with the operation and then remove the nut from the inside of the bodywork. At this point, you can remove the light, being careful to disconnect the electrical supply by unplugging the connectors or removing the entire bulb holder from its housing. This way, you can replace the bulbs. To reassemble everything, simply follow the described operations in reverse order. by ScegliAuto More videos
