Removing the Door Panel on a Mini

In this video, see how to remove the passenger side door panel of a Mini. Start by prying around the frame of the door opening handle, then remove the cap on the door panel (inside the handle). Next, use a screwdriver to unscrew the torx screws on the handle, detach it from the door with a plastic or metal lever, and disconnect any power cables. Once the panel is free from the screws, pull it away from the car door with your hands. Disconnect the power terminals.
