Mini - Video tutorial

Model: Mini Mini R50, R52, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Spark plugs
Operation: Replacing the engine spark plugs

Disconnect the coil cables, the first spark plug is located at the bottom of the well. Remove the connecting pipette upwards. In order not to confuse the cables, disconnect the first spark plug only. Using the special spark plug wrench, which has a rubber hooking device, gently insert it on the spark plug head and unscrew it. Be careful not to let foreign bodies fall into the pit. Replace the spark plug with one of the same model by carefully inserting it into the well, again using the special wrench and turning it gently, checking that it is screwed on correctly. In case of effort, remove it and try again. The spark plugs must be screwed with a torque wrench, if you do not have the wrench screwed in without over tightening. Proceed with the same operation with the other candles.

Replace the steering angle sensor on the Volkswagen Golf 5

When the steering angle sensor malfunction warning light comes on, it may need to be replaced as follows: first remove the steering wheel and the lower steering wheel guard by removing the three fixing screws. The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released. Next, pull down on the back of the card containing the sensor and disengage it from the steering column. At that point take the new card and reposition it, after which proceed backwards to reassemble the various components.
