Replacing the Rear Light

This video shows how to replace the rear light (or bulbs) on the right side of a BMW MINI. After opening the boot, detach the plastic floor and lower both seats. On the right side of the boot, you will find a plastic panel: by lowering the two clips on the upper edge, you can detach it. Using a 10 mm socket and extension, unscrew the bolt that secures the light.

Release the clip that holds the bulb holder from inside and disconnect the electrical connection. Now push the light from the inside out and remove it. Once removed, you can also check the clip mechanism that holds the bulb holder to the light.
