Removing the Mini Cooper S window lifter

In this video tutorial we will see how to remove the window lifter mechanism on a second series Mini Cooper S. First we open the front door and we go to remove the door panel; we use a plastic lever to remove the light ceiling light under the panel and the handle cover. At this point we begin to pry the sides of the panel, in several points, in order to release it, as shown in the video; remove the scraper gasket and unscrew all the panel screws. We just have to disassemble the window lifter mechanism, unscrewing all the fixing screws!

How to Replace the Door Panels on an Audi A3

First, open the door in question. Using a plastic trim tool, start lifting the indicated parts in the video, namely the small panel above the armrest, the one near the handle, and the one next to the window switch. This will allow you to unscrew all the bolts behind these panels and proceed to remove the panel by lifting it off the clips that hold it, starting from the bottom. Now, disconnect the connectors at the back, and you're done. Retrace your steps to reassemble the various components.
