In this video tutorial, learn how to remove and replace the gear knob on a Mini Cooper S in simple steps. First, get inside the car and remove the old gear knob; to do this, grip the knob and pull it upwards with force, as shown in the video. At this point, you can remove the knob along with the gear gaiter; once the two components are separated, refit the new knob onto the old gaiter. If you want to fit a different model of knob, you will need to install an adapter.
