Disassembly of the Mini Cooper loudspeaker

Model: Mini Mini R53, R50, R52 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Speaker

Let's see how to remove the rear speaker of a Mini Cooper. We remove the seats of the rear seats of the car to remove the cover panel on the side of the rear compartment. Unscrew the screws that tighten the speaker recessed in the door: remove it and disconnect the power supply terminal. Once the old speaker is removed, we just have to connect the new piece. We connect the electrical terminals behind the loudspeaker and tighten the locking screws, then mount the cover panel and the rear seat seats. We test the functioning of the new pieces.
