To replace the internal rear-view mirror on a Mini, no tools are required for removal. Simply grasp the mirror and rotate it clockwise. After it has been rotated, pull it downwards to disengage its mounting mechanism. Once the old mirror is removed, insert the new one by positioning it and rotating it counter-clockwise. At this point, push it upwards to secure it in its housing. Once the mirror is secured, adjust it to your preference.
