Detailed instructions - Here are the instructions on how to remove and replace the battery of a Mini One from 2014 to 2018, following these steps. First, open the bonnet of the car and remove the upper screws and plastic clips to take off the plastic cover; then disconnect the two battery terminals (positive and negative) and also unscrew the screws securing the air filter box, removing it. At this point, unscrew the screws of the side plastic cover and finally unscrew the fixing bolt of the battery bracket; simply pull it out and replace it with the new one!
