How to replace the battery in a Mini? Follow these steps for the battery replacement: open the car door and pull up the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery at the top; remove the plastic rivets securing the battery cover, then take it out of the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the bonnet after maintenance.
