How to replace the car stereo of a Mini r56.

Model: Mini Mini R57, R55, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Car stereo

This guide will show us how to replace the car stereo in a Mini R56. Let's start by removing the panel to the right of the speedometer, removing the pieces on the sides of the glove box, behind which we will find some bolts to remove. Once removed, we will have to remove the piece of plastic to the right and left of the panel, as shown at minute 2: 40. Now we will also have to remove the panel behind the steering wheel in the same way. At this point we will have to unscrew two screws that are inside the air vent: once this is done we can remove the gasket around the speedometer as shown at 4:05. Now we will have to go to the pedal area; immediately above we will have a panel held in place by 3 screws, which we will have to unscrew. The next step will be to extract, by simply pulling them, two panels on the sides of the central console; and it is precisely on the central part that we will have to concentrate now, extracting a panel under the controls, 2 screws in the cup holder and a screw in the back of the armrest. This will allow us to extract all the central part and the control panel, as shown at 6: 50. The last operation before being able to remove the radio will be to extract the last two panels left on the sides and the two screws of the cd player. . Now you can take out the radio to replace it.
