In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the Mini Cooper, a very simple operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety. Start by opening the bonnet, then remove the large seal and take off the right plastic cover by unscrewing the relevant bolts with a 10mm spanner. Once done, unscrew the bolt of the lower mounting bracket and disconnect both terminals, always starting with the negative one. At this point, you can remove the old battery from its housing and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
