How to Install a Spoiler on the Mini

In this video, learn how to install a spoiler on the Mini: for maximum precision, it is advisable - after thoroughly cleaning the surfaces - to attach some clips with hollow pins inside, which will go into the appropriate holes for the screws in the spoiler. These will help establish the exact location to drill the hole using a drill. Opening the boot, you will find 5 rubber plugs, which you will remove with a screwdriver. Under the plugs, there are screws that you need to unscrew. At this point, the spoiler will be free (apart from the clip pins), so you can remove it with a bit of force. Using the drill, make holes in the spoiler at the points you previously measured, matching the exact size of the screws for the new spoiler, which you can now attach to the base. Refit everything in place using the 5 screws you removed, replace the 5 plugs, and the job is complete.
