How to Reset the Service Light on a Mitsubishi Mirage

To reset the service light on a Mitsubishi Mirage, ensure the ignition is off; locate the odometer button on the dashboard, usually near the display, labeled with a square icon or "trip". Press and hold the odometer button, and while holding it, turn the key to the "ON" position without starting the engine. The display will show the classic wrench-shaped light, which will start flashing after a few seconds. At this point, release the button. Press the button again just once. The display will show "clear" and the odometer should reset to a default value indicating the kilometers until the next service. Turn off the ignition, and the operation is complete.
