To remove the camshaft from a Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000, first remove the distributor, as the camshaft will be at top dead centre. Loosen the bolts securing its locking brackets and disconnect the connected cables. At this point, you will have access to the camshaft, which can be pulled from its housing after loosening its three securing bolts. Once the old camshaft is removed, replace it with a new spare part and reinstall all previously removed components.
