This guide shows how to clean the throttle body of the MV Agusta Brutale 910. First, remove the passenger and rider seats using the ignition key for the first and the quick release for the second; now you can detach the tank side panels. Use a 4 mm Allen key to remove the key switch. With a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the rear tank cap and the screws previously covered by the side panels. Use an 8 mm socket to remove the retaining screws of the plates and take them off. Slightly lift the tank to disconnect the fuel hoses, breather, and the electrical connection of the pump. Now detach the air box after unscrewing the fastening screws, retaining clips, the blow-by pipe, and the gas recovery pipe. If the throttle body is slightly dirty, use paper and solvent to clean the contact areas of the moving parts. Otherwise, proceed to remove the fuel pipe support, disconnect the TPS and injector connectors. Now loosen the clamps of the manifold and extract the throttle body; be careful to detach the throttle cables. On the disassembled block, you can remove the intake horns and fuel pipes. Now unscrew the screws of the pariglio; from this operation, you can see the dirt deposit. Use specific degreaser and a toothbrush to clean the dirty areas; with compressed air, you can remove all residual dirt. Rinse the piece thoroughly. Now you can reassemble the screws of the pariglio and adjust them using a specialist tool. At this point, reassemble the throttle body onto the manifold following the steps in reverse. Now you can reassemble the air filter box and its cables; reattach the tank and its connections. At this point, reassemble all the disassembled parts. The operation is complete.
