We support the vehicle on two jack stands and position the wheel under the vehicle. For vehicles equipped with automatic brakes, it is necessary to start the "MAINTENANCE" mode using a diagnostic tool. Using a 13mm wrench and a 17mm wrench, we remove the bolts of the caliper bracket on the brake caliper. After removing the brackets, we remove the caliper; we check the sliding of the caliper bolts and the condition of the bolts themselves, the rubber protection because if worn, it will be necessary to replace them. By sliding the pads from the disc with the help of a screwdriver, we remove them. We clean the end of the pad support with a wire brush. We mount the support plates and anti-vibration on the new pads and insert them into the support. We put the caliper back in place and tighten the caliper bolts using a torque wrench, we also perform the operation for the brake pads of the front right wheel. Before mounting the wheel, we remove the maintenance mode from the diagnostic computer. We mount the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground, start the engine and press the brake pedal to tighten the pads immediately after, we get on the road and drive for 50 km avoiding sudden stops.
