How to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Nissan Note

When the oil light comes on in a car, it is necessary to replace it. To perform this replacement on a Nissan Note model year 11, we need to open the front hood and remove the oil tank cap. Lift the car on jack stands and unscrew the nut on the oil pan to let the used oil drain into a container. While the oil continues to drain, remove the nut that secures the oil filter box to replace it. Install the new oil filter and immediately tighten the nut on the oil pan. Lower the vehicle to the ground and pour about 5 liters of motor oil into the tank.
