How to Change Oil and Filter on a Nissan Note 2014

In this video, we can see how to change the engine oil and filter on a Nissan Note: you will need good quality SAE 5W30 oil, a new oil filter, a socket wrench, and a large container to hold the used oil (which we will then dispose of properly at an authorised centre). Block the rear wheels and lift the car. Position the container under the drain plug and let the oil drain out. To speed up the process, it is good practice to open the oil cap in the engine bay. The filter is hand-tightened: if it is too tight, use a screwdriver and a hammer to puncture it and use it as a lever. Install a new filter after lubricating the seal with new oil. Put a new drain plug in the sump and add new engine oil: first, about 90% of the required amount, then fill the filter by briefly starting the engine and check again with the dipstick: adjust the amount until it is just below the "max" mark on the dipstick.
