How to Reset the SERVICE Light on a Nissan Qashqai

To reset the service light after performing an oil change, insert the ignition key and turn on the instrument panel only. Next, unscrew the right button located on the instrument panel and press it to enter the vehicle settings. Rotate the knob until you find the MAINTENANCE option and press the button, then rotate again until the SERVICE option is highlighted, showing the status of the service due or overdue. Rotate the knob back in the settings menu, select factory settings and press the knob, select the default option and press again, select confirm and press once more. In the menu, return to the maintenance option and select SERVICE, check that the initial values for the engine oil life have been reset. Screw the knob back in, turn off and then turn on the instrument panel to verify that the SERVICE light has turned off.
