How to Remove the Ignition Lock on the Nissan Micra?

To remove the ignition lock on the Nissan Micra, loosen the screws located under the steering column to remove the plastic cover. Once this is removed, you will have access to the underlying lock, which must be freed from the securing bolts, and the connectors attached to it must be disconnected. After the old lock has been removed, you can insert a new one, which should be properly secured and connected. After installation, replace the plastic cover.
